National Field Experience Journal

The Official Journal of the National Field Experience Conference

The National Field Experience Journal is a peer-reviewed publication dedicated to sharing research, practices, and reflections on teacher candidate experiences in school settings.  It emphasizes P-12 classroom-based opportunities, including observations, tutoring, and student teaching to refine professional craft.

We are working diligently to load submission information, archive of journals, etc. If you attended our recent National Field Experience Conferences and have been working on field-based research, please email me your submissions by May 15, 2026. Who We Are

The Louisiana Tech Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Leadership is a community of educators and researchers focused on improving educational experiences. We provide various career options for those interested in teaching, with certification pathways for elementary (PK-3 and 1-5), secondary (6-12), and special education.
We take pride in knowing our students and offering quality counseling to all teacher education candidates. Our department offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs that include nationally recognized faculty members known for their expertise in teaching and learning.
