STEP 1: LEARN ABOUT OUR PROGRAM! Contact Mrs. Debbie Lee at [email protected] or 318-257-3229 to learn more about our Masters of Arts in Teaching. She will help get you to the starting line! 
STEP 2: Pass the Praxis II Content exam. You can also drop by the CRRC (Woodard Hall 214) on Tuesdays 11-1 to meet with Dr. Vessel or email to schedule and appointment. We have resources to help you! [email protected]
STEP 3: PICK THE BEST PLAN FOR YOU
YEAR 2 PLAN? Be a graduate assistant, work during the day, and take online evening classes year 1 to prepare you to teach. Then, attend our job fair in the spring and secure a teaching position in Louisiana. Our 15 partner districts would love to meet you, and we can connect you!
YEAR 1 PLAN? Already teaching in Louisiana? You can take all classes with internship if you can handle a heavier load. We will coach you to the finish line!
STEP 4: Apply to the MAT Program and register for coursework.
